Welcome to Linchpin Bloggers, a place where I have more fun than a human being should be allowed. You can call it “Linchpin” for short. My name is Don McAllister, and I’m passionate about writing, blogging, and making a difference.
This website is about your potential to make an incredible difference in the lives of your readers.
On this site I provide coaching and resources to bloggers wanting to become linchpin in their niche and grow a flourishing online tribe. In short, the plan is to take you from just one in the crowd to an indispensable go-to resource.
As for the name, it was no doubt inspired by Seth Godin’s incredible book, Linchpin. The linchpin is a lightweight little piece that holds the wheel to the axle. Very difficult to live without. A linchpin blogger is a blogger who is also very difficult to live without, or at least not easily replaced.
My Method / Topics Covered
I believe that successful writing/blogging is based on the three M’s:
- Mind - Explores strongly held myths about blogging, bad habits reducing potential, and becoming a leader in your niche.
- Method – Offers tips on best-practice blog and post construction, effective writing, copywriting, and building your tribe/platform, and effective leadership principles.
- Money – This looks at ways to make money from your blog, with the primary method being self-publishing (I have an eBook coming on this topic in the near future you’ll want to check out.)
Join The Tribe
Linchpin Bloggers recognizes that remarkable blogs start with remarkable communities. This site is more than just a repository of free content. It is an online community.
The only way to become a successful linchpin blogger is to build a support team of fellow linchpins. Community creates value for all, but it is only as valuable as those involved.
